According to Syrian state broadcaster SANA, an Israeli attack on a residential building in Damascus, Syria, on Tuesday left at least seven people dead and 11 injured.
SANA claims that victims include children and women. It also said that rescue workers are still trying to get people out of the rubble.
Images and video from the scene demonstrated that the building has sustained severe damage. SANA stated that private property surrounding the targeted building has also suffered significant damage.
People were seen walking around and taking in the extent of the damage in images and video from the scene, which showed a fire close to a destroyed apartment building. There were emergency vehicles on the scene.
Iran's semi-official Tasnim news agency said that in January, an Israeli missile strike hit the same neighborhood, killing five Iranian military advisers and a number of Syrian forces.
