"Return to the Butler,"
"Get your shoes," "Cats and dogs for Trump," and "I was there" were just some of the slogans on T-shirts worn by attendees at former President Donald Trump's rally Saturday in Butler, Pennsylvania. Three women wearing T-shirts reading "Get your shoes" (a reference to Trump's comments after Secret Service agents protected him during an assassination attempt in July) told CNN that they were "scared for less than a minute" at the site where the former president nearly lost his life. "When he comes back, we come back," said one woman who attended the July 13 rally in Butler. When asked about the meaning of the T-shirts, they explained that "he stayed to look for his shoes" holds deep meaning for her because "in a way, it told us to stay and fight."
