Pro-Trump advertisers attack Harris on transgender policies in wave of new ads

This week, pro-Trump outside groups added to the avalanche of attacks on Vice President Kamala Harris, launching a slew of new spots on a variety of topics,

including transgender policies, which are becoming a more prominent focus in Republican advertising. The leading pro-Trump super PAC Preserve America, which has received millions from megadonor Miriam Adelson, launched two spots on Wednesday that included criticism of Harris for expressing support for taxpayer-funded gender transition surgeries for detained immigrants and federal prisoners during her 2020 presidential campaign. A Wisconsin voter featured in one of the ads states, "With high inflation, working families like mine are hurting, and Kamala Harris helped create this mess." Presently, while Americans battle, Kamala spent our assessment dollars setting unlawful workers up in lodgings and she upheld spending our duty dollars to give illegals sex changes. It is not only liberal but also insane. Additionally, Harris has been the target of increased LGBTQ rights-related advertising from other prominent pro-Trump outside groups. The super PAC MAGA Inc., which has contributed the most to Trump's 2024 campaign, launched an advertisement on Tuesday that read, "Kamala will give criminal illegal aliens taxpayer-funded transgender surgeries," followed by the statement, "Crazy liberal Kamala is for they/them." You have Trump's support. The ads show a significant shift in messaging from Republican advertisers, including the Trump campaign, which has increased its focus on LGBTQ rights and transgender health care policies with new ads at the beginning of October. A Spanish-language version of one of its spots that criticized Harris on the subject was released by the Trump campaign on Wednesday. Trump played an anti-transgender video on Wednesday at a campaign rally in Scranton, Pennsylvania. He said it showed the difference between the military under his administration and the military under the Biden administration, which he called the "woke" military. As the campaign entered the final month, data from the ad tracking company AdImpact reveals that LGBTQ rights have increased as a share of Republican messaging in the presidential race. In the presidential race, Republican advertisers spent approximately $6.9 million on LGBTQ rights-related advertisements throughout September, which represented approximately 8% of their total broadcast TV spending that month. That sum increased to $8.7 million in the first week of October, accounting for 28% of GOP broadcast TV advertising.
