Lebanon's Polite Safeguard administration expresses five of its individuals have been killed by an Israeli airstrike in the southern city of Tire. According to a statement, when the strike struck the Civil Defense Center in the town of Dardghaya, the workers were taking emergency calls. The public emergency medical service of Lebanon is the Civil Defense. In a post on X, the Lebanese Ministry of Health said that Israel was responsible for targeting "rescue and ambulance crews (and) disobeying international laws, norms, and humanitarian conventions." The ministry also expressed its displeasure with the attack.
